Synopsis

The Naruto series is inspired by Shonen Jump, a very popular manga series and television show in Japan. Given that the series features students at a ninja academy, its adaptation into a 2D fighting game seems logical. Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 will introduce new characters, such as a female ninja named Temari and the hardened ninja master Jiraiva. There is also a chubby character named Chouji. Like in the series, Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 divides the characters into groups of three. Recurring characters Ino and Shikamaru join newcomer Chouji on Team Konoha, while Team Sand consists of newbie Temari and returning characters Kankuro and Gaara. As in the last opus, Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 offers a four-player combat mode.
