Synopsis

In feudal Japan, an alien enters Murasame Castle and takes a giant statue, and it goes on to expand its influence over four neighboring castles. The samurai apprentice Takamaru is therefore summoned to reconquer the castles and then get rid of the stranger.
An action game that has some similarities to The Legend of Zelda, but has no RPG-adventure elements. It's also much more linear: you fight through castles one after another.
You have two weapons: shurikens (unlimited) for ranged attacks and a sword for melee combat. The sword is used automatically when you are close enough to an enemy, and it can also be used to deflect enemy shurikens. But you are constantly attacked by ninjas from all directions and also have a limited time to complete each stage, the game is very difficult.
