Synopsis
NBA Jam Tournament Edition is an "updated" version of NBA Jam, released a year earlier. Based on the same arcade gameplay base as its illustrious predecessor, this new version nevertheless offers some new features: an updated roster, based on the 1994-1995 NBA season, and some gameplay adjustments; including: a faster pace of play, teams of 3 players (instead of 2 in the previous game), new characteristics specific to each player, the appearance of a fatigue gauge, as well as the possibility of making substitutions at half-time of matches.
