Synopsis

Necronomicon is based on the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. The story takes place in Lovecraft's fictional town of Arkham in New England. It is said that a terrible ritual took place there, during which a woman gave birth to a demonic child. A journalist named Jonathan travels to Arkham to verify these rumors and to explore the ruins of an ancient monastery. Jonathan will meet other characters who have their own goals. Terrifying nightmares now haunt Jonathan.
Necronomicon is a traditional, puzzle-free Japanese adventure with a simple point-and-click interface for interaction. Navigation is done either through a menu command or by selecting a location on the Arkham map.
The graphics have an anime-manga style aesthetic. The game features disturbing scenes, as well as scenes of nudity.
