Synopsis

The gameplay revolves around rival street racing teams. Players lead a team and can recruit specific street racers to join their team. The active, friendly racer is called a “wingman.” Each recruitable street racer has two skills: one related to racing (scout, blocker, and follower) and one unrelated to racing (repairer, mechanic, and builder). Each skill has different properties, ranging from finding hidden alleys and side streets (shortcuts) to reducing police attention. The cars driven by teammates also differ: blockers drive muscle cars, followers drive exotic cars, and scouts drive tuned cars (which correspond to the car category chosen by the player at the start of the game). In Career Mode, players must race on circuits and win to conquer territories and face off against bosses in order to take over neighborhoods.
