Synopsis

Neo XYX is the first game in TATE mode (screen placed in vertical position) released on Dreamcast. This is a manic shooter, understand a shooting game with a lot of enemy fire (balls) and a hit-box (destruction point) of very small ships (a few pixels).

An alien force called the Orochis, missing for thousands of years, has reappeared emerging from a glowing green sun, trying to conquer the galaxy.
Their ships are powered by a power called "The Flow of Orochi". We suspect a powerful force behind this flow. If this higher power is destroyed, perhaps their forces will then be wiped out?
Your mission is to seek out and destroy the source of the Orochi's power.
