Synopsis

Nether Earth takes place in the distant future. A war is underway between humans and an ancient race of aliens called the Insignian. On their mysterious planet, there are four bases to capture: Kerberus, Tarras, Faretra and Diolkos. Use factories to build giant combat robots, similar to Mech units in other games. Commanding robots, capturing factories and defeating enemies in real time are the main objectives of the player.

The player controls a small flying robot, instead of the mouse cursor. With this robot, the player can enter a factory to design a unique combat robot from parts such as wheels, antigrav, radar, laser cannon or nuclear weapons. Then the player must control the robot. The artificial intelligence works well at first, but in difficult times it is possible to control the robot manually. As the balance of power changes with each conquered base, the player must also adapt their strategies and tactics.
