Synopsis

New Rally-X is a maze-based scrolling racing game in which the player drives a racing car and must collect ten yellow flags before the car's fuel runs out. The opponents consist of red enemy cars that chase and attempt to ram and destroy the player's car. Enemies move faster than the player's vehicle.

The player's car automatically moves in the direction the joystick is pushed and if it hits a wall, it will automatically turn and continue moving. To disrupt chasing enemy cars, a smoke screen can be activated behind the player's car, causing any pursuing vehicle to crash. Activating the smoke screen uses a small amount of fuel, so players should be careful not to overuse it.
