Synopsis

After the evil Leopard Seal kidnaps a kiwi tribe from a zoo, the leader Tiki escapes. His mission is to rescue his scattered tribe members, including Phee-Phee, from cages hidden across New Zealand in locations like Auckland, Rotorua, the Waitomo Caves, Cook Strait, and Mount Cook.

If Tiki fails to rescue a kiwi in time, a devil will appear to kill him. Bosses await him at the outskirts of every city except Strait Cook, while other enemies attack with weapons like bombs and arrows. Tiki defeats them with his crossbow, collecting fruit for points and occasionally finding power-ups like laser shots, bombs, or fireballs. Gathering the letters E, X, T, E, N, and D grants an extra life.

In certain levels, Tiki must defeat specific enemies to acquire items that grant him the ability to fly upward. He also navigates underwater sections where his oxygen depletes, requiring him to surface for air. Additionally, he can squirt water at enemies when positioned above the water.
