Synopsis
Midway offers a version of hockey based on the “no-rules” concept already seen in NFL Blitz. Hockey may have fewer rules than American football, but NHL Hitz delivers hard-hitting action and very simple 3-on-3 gameplay. The game features “franchise” modes for a team you can create yourself, as well as “championship” and “exhibition” modes. As you play, you earn attribute points and credits that you can use to unlock items and upgrade your players. Several mini-games and bonuses are hidden within the game, just waiting to be unlocked. With NHL Hitz, Midway aims to create the most action-packed hockey game ever released on consoles.
