Description

Aside from the licenses, this edition's gameplay includes the devastating one-shot shot for the first time, but to keep attackers (literally) in check, defenders also get new, more challenging body controls, with new animations. For an added challenge, players can also choose to manually control the goalkeeper. Combat, popular in previous editions, has been completely removed from the game. Game modes include exhibition matches (or "regular season" in the game), playoffs (best of one or best of seven), and an all-new shootout mode. The main options remain essentially the same since the series' inception: period length (5, 10 or 20 minutes), line changes (disabled, manual or the new automatic mode) and penalties. (disabled, enabled, enabled but no offside).
