Synopsis
Nightruth: Explanation of the Paranormal: "Maria" is the 2nd game in the Nightruth series, following Yami no Tobira and this time focusing on one of the female protagonists, Maria Mizunagi, a comrade of Shinya, skilled in combat and blessed with supernatural healing abilities.
Gameplay is identical to the previous title, illustrated and spoken story sequences that occasionally branch, depending on the player's choice, into multiple scenarios, each with multiple endings. This opus offers stories linked to three famous historical events: Jack the Ripper, Heavenly Mary and the Miracle of the Sun.
