Synopsis

Nippon Daihyou Team: Eikou no Eleven is a football game for the Game Boy that focuses on the Japanese national team and their participation in the 1998 World Cup in France. It includes the real names of all 32 players representing the Japanese national team.

The three main game modes include:
- Japanese National Team, where the player controls the Japanese team to win the cup by facing various opposing national teams;
- World Challenge Mode, in which the player can choose from qualified Asian national teams to try to win the cup;
- Free Competition, which allows a single match between two qualified national teams, this mode allows clashes between two players or against the computer.

Additionally, Nippon Daihyou Team: Eikou no Eleven offers multiple adjustable settings and a password save system.
