Synopsis

Shadow Warriors II: The Dark Sword of Chaos (Ninja Gaiden II in North America) is a platform/action video game, second episode of the Ninja Gaiden trilogy on NES.
A year after the events of the previous episode, Ashtar, the emperor of darkness who had commissioned Jaquio, learns of his defeat. He is preparing a new plan to conquer the world by opening the portal of darkness.
A U.S. Army Special Intelligence agent named Robert T. Sturgeon is sent to seek help from Ryu Hayabusa to fight Ashtar. Robert also informs Ryu that Irene has been captured and is being held in Lahja Tower.
