Synopsis

Ninja Kid is a side-scrolling action game in which a ninja kid must jump and blast his way through a series of levels in order to complete his quest. Although armed with ninja balls by default, he occasionally has the opportunity to pick up other offensive items such as ninja stars, boomerangs or fireballs.
The original Japanese version, Gegege no Kitarou: Youkai Daimakyou, features Kitaro from the manga of the same name. His main weapon is his hair instead of darts and he uses a flying finger instead of a shuriken, his vest instead of the feather, and a geta instead of a boomerang. The enemies are also taken from the manga in the Japanese version and the levels are significantly different.
