Synopsis
Rhapsody of Zephyr is a Korean RPG and side story in The War of Genesis series. Unlike most other installments in the series, it has fewer tactical elements and is closer to a traditional Japanese RPG.
The game's story is loosely based on Alexandre Dumas' famous novel, The Count of Monte Cristo. The game takes place in a pseudo-European New Age environment (17th-19th centuries). The game's hero, a young nobleman Cyrano Bernstein, is betrayed by his fiancée Mercedes and is captured by the evil warlock Cesare Borgia. After escaping prison, Cyrano swears revenge, and searches for a legendary sword sealed on a nearby island and recruits allies to become involved in a war between two powerful empires.
