Synopsis

No More Heroes is a violent action game set in the fictional town of Santa Destroy, California.

The main character, Travis Touchdown, wins a Beam Katana (reminiscent of the Star Wars lightsaber) in an online auction and decides to become a professional assassin. He displays a marked otaku side, both in his appearance and in his passion for J-Pop, toy robots, wrestling and video games.

After defeating the assassin Helter Skelter in combat, he is approached by Frenchwoman Silvia Christel, who offers him a job within the UAA (United Assassins Association), the organization governing assassins. Ranked #11, Travis must eliminate his competitors to climb the ranks by defeating the other assassins.
