Synopsis
Nobunaga no Yabou - Shouseiroku is the 7th title in the series, released in March 1997 for Windows 95. This game features a new map, representing the entire country on a grid. Versions for Macintosh, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, PlayStation Portable and mobile phones were subsequently made.
The game takes place during the Kingdoms period in Japan. As the title suggests, the player is tasked with achieving warlord Oda Nobunaga's ultimate goal; the conquest and unification of Japan. Selecting Nobunaga is optional, however, as the player can also choose from a variety of other regional daimyo of the era.
