Synopsis

Nobunaga's Ambition II is a turn-based strategy video game developed and published by Koei in 1988. It is a sequel to Nobunaga's Ambition and takes place in 16th century medieval Japan. It offers two scenarios. In the first, Japan is divided between numerous lords who each try to unify the country. In the second, which takes place a few years before the first, the player faces Lord Nobunaga who already controls half of the country. The game takes place turn-based on a map of Japan divided into provinces, on which the player controls samurai to which military units are attached. Each turn, the player can carry out different actions, such as transferring men or resources from one province to another or developing agriculture, trade or fortifications in their region.
