Synopsis

*Jeffrey Archer: Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less – The Computer Game* is an interactive fiction game based on the novel by Jeffrey Archer. The plot follows three Englishmen and an American who are victims of a scam that stole their savings. The four protagonists (the player plays Stephen Bradley) try to recover their money from the fraudster.

The game faithfully follows the plot of the book, with some added puzzles. Unlike other adventures, the player cannot use directional controls to move: each puzzle must be solved in an area before they can leave it. However, it is possible to miss important objects and find yourself in a dead end. The game assumes that the player has read the book (provided with the game).
