Synopsis

Nushi Tsuri 64 is a fishing-themed role-playing game. This is the first installment in the series for the N64 console, released only in Japan.

You can choose from 6 characters before starting the game. As in most RPGs, you can freely move around the city, visit other cities, talk to NPCs and buy items, mainly related to fishing. To fish, you need to find a suitable place, and after catching a fish, you can keep it in an aquarium and feed it.

As you move around, you may encounter random enemies at any time. You are then transferred to another screen and given the choice between throwing objects, such as rocks, at your enemies to chase them away, or running on a path-shaped bar to get to safety and end the fight. If you choose the latter option, you are vulnerable, as your enemies can attack you and reduce your health.
