Synopsis

David Hamlyn arrives at the offices of Sinister Investigations Inc. after an urgent message from his friend and colleague, Professor Jack Slaine. Upon entering Jack's office, he finds it deserted and lifeless, plunged into an eerie silence. The light of the new moon bathes the room in a milky white. A shiver runs through him, and he feels nervous.

On the other side of the door is the computer room. David approaches the locked door, places his ear against the wood, but hears nothing. Thinking little about the noise he heard upon entering, he sits down to read reports on Jack's desk, not noticing the shadow moving behind the door.
