Synopsis

Old Father Time is a traditional "text adventure." Your mission is to save Old Father Time's staff and hourglass before time runs out. To do this, you will have to exercise your brain a little, because you will find that you encounter many dead ends and insurmountable problems in your task. To communicate your wishes to the computer, use simple sentences. Two words will usually be enough (TAKE ROCK, PUNCH TROLL) but sometimes you may need more (PUT APPLE ON TABLE). Which words the computer understands, you'll have to find out by trial and error - that's part of the fun of the adventure, and it would be a bit of a gift if we gave you a full vocabulary and you found words like LEVITATE or ABRACADABRA among them, wouldn't it? We don't intend to spoil your fun by giving hints - all the necessary clues are in the program. If you're stuck, don't call us - keep trying everything! The following is a general description of the wonderful, addictive worlds of adventure. It is intended for the uninitiated and does not contain any information of particular interest to this adventure.
