Synopsis

On-Field Football is an American football game where you can face the computer or another player while strictly respecting the rules. Before starting a game, you can choose the number of players or a demo game, the duration (5 or 15 minutes) and the style of play. The view of the field is in a third-person, high-angle view, with the action taking place behind the attacking team. The kick-off is given and, as soon as the ball carrier is tackled, decisions must be made. Using the joystick, you select an action by moving it up, down, left or right, and you have 30 seconds to choose it. Once both teams have made their choice, you control the quarterback if you are on offense, or a defender if you are on defense. After a pass from the quarterback, you take control of the ball carrier. You can also punt, attempt an extra point or a field goal.
