Synopsis

The character played by the player is a child who, on his tenth birthday, embarks on an adventure to become a monster breeder. After receiving and hatching an egg, the player travels the world, completing quests given to them by locals, and breeding monsters. Quests are classic RPG missions, such as retrieving an item for a non-playable character, and monsters face off in turn-based battles, similar to Pokémon. Unlike Pokémon, all monsters in the game come from the baby the player receives as the first monster. Depending on the food given to it, the monster gains elemental points which determine its evolution. Monsters gain levels by defeating other monsters and walking around the city. Monsters hatch from eggs which can be purchased from the local specialty store.
