Synopsis

In a setting familiar to most horror fans, you must negotiate a variety of frightening events while exploring Carfax Abbey, an old, dilapidated house that has become your new home. The unusual second-person perspective parser, the simplistic but fair puzzles, and the good atmosphere make this an enjoyable game that doesn't live up to Infocom's classic IF Lurking Horror, but remains a worthy attempt despite a banal plot and simplistic writing.
