Synopsis

In Oscar, the player controls the eponymous protagonist across seven levels in Hollywood-style areas (sci-fi, western, horror, cartoons, dinosaurs, detectives, and game shows), each divided into three scenes. The main objective is to jump and run through the level in order to find... Oscars (yes, Oscar statues!). If enough Oscars are collected, the level is completed. The player can explore the levels in any order they wish - they are accessed through a tower of doors which open when tasks are completed. During his journey through the levels, the player encounters many enemies which he can avoid by jumping over or kill by jumping on them. These, as well as a few collectible items, reward the player with bonuses such as invulnerability, the super jump or the Yo-yo gadget which allows you to break down walls.
