Synopsis

Paperboy is a 1985 arcade game by Atari Games originally developed in 1984. Players take on the role of a paperboy who delivers newspapers by bicycle on a suburban street. The game has been ported to numerous video game consoles and home computers. Paperboy was innovative in its theme and new controls.

The player controls a bicycle newspaper delivery boy who delivers newspapers along a suburban street displayed in cabinet perspective (or oblique projection). The player attempts to deliver a week's worth of daily newspapers to subscribed customers, attempts to vandalize non-subscribers' homes, and must avoid the dangers of the street. The player loses subscribers by missing a delivery or damaging a subscriber's house.
