Synopsis

The Paranoia Complex takes place in a city controlled by a malicious computer that exercises dictatorial control. The player takes on the role of a citizen who has the dirty work of tracking down rebel terrorists. The computer gives instructions, the player walks towards the terrorist in the city and shoots him dead. Having collected a floppy disk from the body and taking it to a special terminal, money and promotions await him as a reward.

Money is essential because it allows you to buy weapons, ammunition or food. At regular intervals, the player must take a personality test with yes/no answers and questions such as "Are you a fascist pig?" If answered incorrectly, the player becomes the hunted instead of the hunter.
