Synopsis

Patton vs Rommel simulates an alternative battle for control of Normandy, pitting General Patton against Marshal Rommel. The player accumulates points according to his side: positive for the Allies, negative for the Axis. Although the game emphasizes entertainment over deep strategic simulation, it offers various options and detailed feedback, including tactical advice provided by AI versions of the two commanders. A key feature is an early version of "Fog of War", where enemy units remain invisible until an area is penetrated or contested.
