Synopsis

A working simulation to help understand microprocessors.
The Peeko computer simulates the operation of a simplified microcomputer to teach the fundamentals of machine code programming. The peeko computer has ten easy-to-learn instructions and the display gives a visual analogy of how a real microcomputer works.
Programs can be entered, step by step, at each stage. For ease of understanding, each instruction mnemonic is displayed as encountered.
The Peeko computer comes with a 16-page instruction manual, which contains examples for teaching:
- The notions of instructions and data
- Loads and stores
- Jumps, with conditions
- Addition, and the carrying flag
- Multi-byte arithmetic
- Iteration
