Synopsis
Home Run Nighter: Pennant League!! is a Famicom baseball game in the mold of Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium: All the athletes have a very distorted, cartoonish appearance. Home Run Nighter goes even further than its contemporaries by giving each hitter on fictional teams their own unique sprite. Some will be taller, while others will have exaggerated facial features. It is possible that some of the athletes (and the managers, who appear during the preparation phase) were based on real Japanese baseball players.
