Synopsis

A Tetris-like game with a little something extra: the pieces are made up of 5 blocks (hence the title "Pentominon"), and fall into a sort of sequencer that generates hypnotic musical loops as players progress.

To get higher scores, players must clear rows in a special way: if a single block remains "isolated" from the rest, it starts adding extra points to the score in so-called "ignition mode".

The game was developed and published in 2009 by xisai, and received an improved remake/sequel by the same authors in 2017 (Pentominon Transctiption, available on Xbox One).

The original version is no longer available due to the end of the Xbox Live Indie Games program.
