Synopsis

This football game is played sideways. The only play option is the European Championship tournament of the time, although you can choose all 8 teams from the 26 major European football nations of the time (so the USSR, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia are still full). Two players can compete in these groups, but there is no guarantee of getting straight to a two-player game, especially since tournaments (and individual matches) cannot be abandoned.
The game features kicks of varying power, determined by how long you hold down the fire button. In a departure from realistic physics, the ball bounces in the direction it came from. Goalkeepers stay on the goal line instead of using the entire penalty area.
