Synopsis
The Algo star system faces renewed turmoil a millennium after Palma's explosion devastated its 3 worlds and unleashed Darkness. While life on the desert planet Motavia slowly recovers under the Hunter's Guild, a long-dormant evil is awakening.
Young hunter Chaz is drawn into a critical adventure that begins with a routine assignment but quickly escalates into an epic struggle.
Phantasy Star IV's gameplay mirrors its second installment, featuring dual weapon equips, race-specific healing items and automatic leveling and technique acquisition. The game retains the series' turn-based combat system, extending it to occasional vehicle battles, and includes side quests through hunter assignments for the protagonists.
