Synopsis

In Phantom Tank (German: Phantom-Panzer), the player takes control of an assault vehicle in order to defend their "power base" at the bottom of the screen against attacking ghost tanks.

The game consists of three phases: the first phase takes place in a city and resembles a maze. It offers relative protection with the walls of the building. In the second phase, enemy tanks cross two bridges over a river, but there is virtually no cover. In the third and final phase, it's an all-out battle with the ghost tanks aggressively charging at the player's base and no obstacles to stop them.
