Pinball Braindamage
Description
PinballBD is the most technically advanced pinball game for the Amiga. While Pinball Illusions made multiball possible by switching from lo-res to hi-res interlaced, Pinball Brain Damage usually runs in hi-res (640x256) with a lot of overscan, but can be switched to super-resolution interlaced (1280x512) to provide a better overview of the tables. The game contains two tables. The first, Hypervolution, has cars as its theme. Get a driver's license, tune your car and escape the police. The second table, Magnetic Whirlpool, is inspired by B-movies. With lots of advanced ramps and tunnels, you have to dodge the monsters and occasionally play a sub-game on the LCD. Although two tables seem few, the CD version offers a table editor as a bonus, continuing the tradition of Pinball Construction Set. PinballBD emphasizes realism, allows adjustment of the TILT and simulates eight different types of material on the table.
