Synopsis

PixelJunk SideScroller is a shoot'em up available for download on the PSN. This title has a resolutely retro visual identity and its gameplay is a form of homage to 80s titles. The game does however include some innovative elements such as a strong interaction with the scenery: waterfalls allow you to cool down your ship and regain your health, while lava flows or jets of digestive juices are to be avoided at all costs.
