Synopsis

Planet Smashers is a vertical scrolling shooter similar to Xevious. Power-ups can be captured by destroying freighters. Power-ups include upgraded weapons, shield restoration, and cloaking ability. Freighters also drop warp pods which the player must collect in order to progress to the level boss. The difference of this game that sets it apart from others of the same type is the earth shield. Each time the player lets a ship go unscathed, the earth shield becomes depleted a little. If the shield is destroyed, it's over.
