Synopsis

Your laser ship patrols the surface of the planetoid. The scanner in the upper part of the overview shows the surface of the entire planet and can be used for long-range reconnaissance. The lower part of the screen displays the section over which the laser ship is flying.
Raiders can be seen hovering around the surface searching for lifeforms, which they can drag into space. When a raider comes up with a lifeform, you can destroy it with your lasers or with the 'smart bombs' that disintegrate anything hostile in sight. After annihilating the thief, you can intercept the falling life form and return it safely to the surface.
If you do not save a lifeform before the raider carrying it reaches the top of the screen, the raider mutates. You will then have to face a mutant, while being attacked by bombers, spores and megacytes; which must be avoided at all costs and killed before moving on to the next wave. Cruisers are also dangerous, but should not be destroyed before moving on to the next wave.
