Pocket Monsters - Midori
Synopsis
Pokémon Green (Poketto Monsuta Midori, lit. Pocket Monsters Green) and Pokémon Red (Poketto Monsuta Aka, lit. Pocket Monsters Red) are the Pokémon games originally published in Japan on February 27, 1996. Their mascot is the ultimate evolution of the first two starter Pokémon, Florizarre and Charizard (Venusaur and Charizard). They sold out quickly, thanks in part to Nintendo's idea of producing two versions of the game instead of just one title, leading some consumers to buy both. As is, these two games will never cross the borders of Japan: they will be completely overhauled when they are released in the West to become Pokémon Red and Blue.
