Synopsis

You begin your adventure in Bourg Palette where you play the role of a young boy. After a dangerous altercation with wild Pokémon, Professor Chen teaches you how to capture Pokémon and teaches you the basics of becoming a trainer. As you travel through the Kanto region, you must capture Pokémon to record their information in your Pokédex, and you will need to become a trainer for the competitions held in the region's various arenas. Once you have established your reputation as a Pokémon trainer, it will be time to face the Council of 4, a group of elite trainers who will put your skills to the test.
