Synopsis

Police Connection is a board game with a twist: instead of simply completing a goal or collecting money, players take on the role of a police detective and investigate crimes. There are three cases in the game, all accessible from the main menu: two murders (the victims being young women) and a case of missing money. Up to four human or AI-controlled characters attempt to solve these mysteries.

Players navigate the characters in a turn-by-turn manner on a board representing an urban environment. The number of steps taken by each character is determined by a dice roll, but the board is made up of several branching paths, and it is up to the players to choose which ones are desired. Characters can interrogate suspects, piece together clues, and collect information when they land on the appropriate squares on the board. Special squares provide cards, which can be used for various purposes, e.g. examine evidence, take a taxi to another part of town, etc.
