Synopsis

Popeye is a conversion of the action/arcade platform game. As Popeye, you try to win Olive Oyl's love! She's at the top of the screen dropping tokens of her love, and you need to collect them before they hit the ground. After collecting the required number of items, you can move on to the next, more difficult level. However, there are many obstacles that try to prevent you from accomplishing your task! Brutus wanders around the screen and constantly tries to grab you. If you pick up a can of spinach you can knock him out temporarily, otherwise Brutus will knock you out. Other objects such as bottles or birds also fly around the screen and will cause you to lose one of your lives if you get hit. Each level features a different layout of platforms and ladders, and will have you picking up different objects as they float down the screen!
