Synopsis

Populous is a real-time strategy computer game, developed by Bullfrog and published by Electronic Arts in 1989. It is considered the archetype of the god game. In Populous, the player is responsible for a people whom he must guide against that of the opposing deity by manipulating the landscape, growing civilization and using various calamities against the enemy.
The world in which the player intervenes is represented in isometric perspective. Icons around the playing area allow you to select the actions to perform. The game implements a two-player mode over a local network via null modem connection on computers.
