Synopsis

Pound for Pound is a boxing game on Irem M-85 hardware. The player must defeat eight unique boxers to become champion. It has various blows: jabs, jabs, hooks and uppercuts, executed via two buttons combined with a trackball (eg an uppercut by holding A and pulling the trackball backwards). Training phases allow you to improve your skills, and the coach provides advice between fights. The game ends if the player is counted out, knocked out three times in a row or if his total score is lower than that of the opponent. In two-player mode, two humans can compete until one of them wins.
