Description

This side-scrolling game, taking you through six levels of the usual shooter em-up opponents - the flying villains, ground villains, and end-of-level villains - where you simply try to survive for as long as possible.

Everything in this game is average. There are some nice graphic effects, but for the most part, the game looks resolutely artisanal. Powder has no new ideas and only manages to get out of mediocrity slightly by allowing the player to change weapons.

Shoot-em ups may be the mainstay of simple and addictive games, but they really have to be fun and enjoyable. Powder is worth a try if you are a fan of the genre.
