Synopsis

Power Boat Race is a chaotic racing game where the player pilots a speedboat on mostly one-way circuits, dotted with fjords and narrow passages. Bridges must be crossed using precise jumps on ramps, allowing players to overtake other boats to gain an advantage. The speedboat is equipped with bombs to place on the track to hit opponents and score points. Additional bombs and fuel are scattered along the route, often dangerously close to banks, where collisions can cause accidents. After an accident, a new speedboat is placed further away. Meanwhile, a helicopter drops bombs that must be avoided, often blocking the player's view, while rival boats group together to push the player against the walls.
