Synopsis

In the 25th century, humanity colonized all of known space. Earth has become an Empire of sorts, ruling over all colonies, with the Earth government known for its ruthless methods. Eventually, the planet Omni could no longer endure Earth's tyranny. The planet's military has assembled a special all-female giant robot combat unit called the Power Dolls, led by the charming and athletic Hardy Newland. The battle for freedom begins! Like the other installments in the series, Power Dolls FX is a turn-based tactical strategy game. The player can customize robots, replace and upgrade their weapons, etc. By navigating all six robots on a top-down battle map, the player can attack enemies when they are within weapon range. Enemy units include other giant robots, tanks, ships, etc. The game has two modes: story mode and scenario mode. In story mode, battles progress in a linear fashion, with scenes cut between missions. In story mode, the player is free to play all story mode scenarios in any order.
