Synopsis

It is a side-scrolling action game in which the player controls a different Ranger in each level among the game's five. The game offers two difficulty levels and a password function. Rangers start each level with the standard Ranger pistol, which can be replaced with the character's corresponding Legendary Weapon. At the end of each level, the player faces one of the evil witch Bandora's minions and, ultimately, Bandora herself. Between levels, Dragon Ranger offers players the opportunity to participate in one of three mini-games: a trivia game where Bandora asks questions about the TV series, a Pong-style game between Daizyuzin and Caesar, and a "hot potato" style game between Zyutei Daizyuzin and Lamy. These mini-games are also accessible from the main menu and can be played with two players.
